The first large-diameter construction project of China Railway Sunward in Shenzhen was fully completed after 566 days.

At 10:58 a.m. on April 21, the shield machine No. 37 of China Railway Sunward broke out from the bid of 16#-15# comprehensive wells in the fourth working section of Shenzhen Metro Line 14 Co-Construction Pipeline Corridor 14GL-101 Bid, marking the full passage of the first large-diameter shield construction project of China Railway Sunward in Shenzhen. It is reported that the equipment has started the large split since September 28, 2021, and has completed the whole line construction task excellently after 566 days and nights.

Project Overview: The section line goes out of Liuxiandong Station, goes along Tongfa Road, passes through the stadium of Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College and then turns into Shahe West Road, passes through Xili Reservoir-Tiegang Reservoir Diversion Tunnel and passes through the Xili Reservoir Drinking Water Resource Protection Zone along Shahe West Road, and then enters Baimang Station. The section can be divided into two main types of strata, one type is mainly hard plastic clay and fully weathered granite, which is suitable for soil-pressure balance mode of tunneling; the other type is mainly slightly weathered/medium weathered granite, which is suitable for open mode of tunneling.

The starting point from the Times Sunshine Avenue Station, along the Wanjiali Road northbound, need to pass through the Guitang River Bridge, Tianjiling Tunnel, Wanjiali rapid transformation of the viaduct, Yayuan gas station and other urban buildings, the construction is difficult.

The interval from the Dayun Station, along the Longgang Avenue below the laying, under the Baohe Shenzhen-Huizhou overpass, Metro Line 3 viaduct, Ailian District B and the new Tuen Mun Industrial Park, and then northeast into the Ruyi Road below the laying, under the Longgang River, Huizhou Salt Expressway, rows of back to the village houses into the mountain, out of the mountain under the Aomei Shijiazhuang Furniture Factory, Fuchang Electronic Science and Technology Company Limited, and finally along the Baohe Road, under the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway to reach the Baohe Station. Finally, it will be laid along Baohe Road and pass through Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway to arrive at Baohe Station. The main strata crossed are powdery clay, fully weathered sandstone, strongly weathered sandstone, moderate weathered sandstone, slightly weathered sandstone, slightly weathered tuff, and upper soft and lower hard composite strata.

Interval from Xiao Cai Yuan station out of the station along the meter track railroad channel laying, side through the Xiao Cai Yuan overpass continues to lay along the meter track across the Pan Longjiang River, in the YDK9 + 400 ~ YDK9 + 570 section, the interval tunnel linear transition to overlap section from parallel, left and right line vertical. On the distance of 1.8m, in YDK9 + 834 ~ YDK9 + 883 section through the Beijing Road and finally arrived at the North Railway Station tunnel. The main stratum is rounded gravel, gravelly sand, silt and clay.

:After the interval line out of Hedong East Station, along the Fangcun Avenue from north to south, with 350m left curve, through the Guangzhou Shipyard, across the Pearl River, through the Nanshi Second Street residential housing into the Nanshi Road Station, out of the Nanshi Road Station, through the kindergarten of the paper, dormitory buildings, to the east through the industrial avenue and the Guangzhou-Foshan line into the Yanguang Station. The main strata crossed are medium-weathering muddy siltstone, slightly weathered medium-coarse sandstone and gravelly sandstone.

The interval line is mainly laid along Zhongshan Road, side through the factory, residential buildings, gas station, military area, Guangzhou operation business headquarters, under the Hinzibao Bridge, A219 high bridge, BRT Lianxi Station, BRT Maogang Station and its footbridge and other buildings (structures). The main strata crossed by the interval are strong~weakly weathered sandstone, conglomerate sandstone, and strong~weakly weathered muddy siltstone.
