On July 15, Hunan's first power shield tunnel - Wanjiali Road 220kv power tunnel project ushered in a major breakthrough, the northern line of China Railway Shanhe 0014 shield machine arrived at the No. 1 shield receiving shaft, which marks the project's entire shield interval successfully through.
Wanjiali Road 220kv power tunnel shield section project is the first power shield tunnel in our province, divided into two intervals of south line and north line, with a total length of 5,833 meters, and China Railway Shanhe No. 0013 and No. 0014 shield machines serve as tunnel boring tasks. The project is located in an extremely complex geology, passing through a number of small S-turns with a minimum radius of 150 meters, long-distance conglomerate strata, and a number of station entrances and exits of Metro Line 3/5 and other risk zones, etc. With superior performance and excellent stability, the two sets of CRSR shield tunneling machines not only completed the tunneling task successfully, but also created a construction record of 385 meters of single-month tunneling during the period of tunneling, which breaks the record of the same shield tunneling machine for single-month tunneling.
During the construction of the shield machine, the after-sales service engineers of China Railway Shanhe reasonably adjusted and optimized the tunneling parameters of the shield machine according to the geological conditions, and at the same time cooperated with the project department to complete the maintenance and upkeep of the shield machine as well as the skill training of the operators, which ensured the smooth completion of the project.
